Today was a huge day in our house. Firstly it was Christmas day. Secondly it was our only daughter Holly’s first birthday. Corny much? Calling her holly like Christmas Holly. Anyway today is also my wedding day. My life in a sentence is hard but doable. Joe and I have been together since we were 19 and 21 ,that was 10 years ago, our eldest son JJ (Joseph Junior) is seven, When our son Ric was born four years ago Joe proposed and its only now were actually tying the knot. Joe and I talked quietly still cuddled up in our bed together awaiting the kids to come in and scream Santa has been here. We didn’t have to wait long as less than ten minutes later. JJ and Ric ran in. JJ: Dad Mom Santa was here. Ric: Yes he was can we go down? And open them? Joe: Yes just wait until I get Holly and we will all go down together? Demi: Remember to say happy birthday The boys nodded at me, they both gave Holly hugs and kisses before we all headed downstairs. All the kids opened there presents one at a time. Ric was first he opened his big one first, all the kids had one big one and two small ones and their stocking, Ric’s big present was a Nintendo DSI. He was so happy he also got new soccer boots and a helmet as his smaller gifts; getting games for his DSI and books in his stocking he was over the moon. JJ went second, he too opened his big one first too, he screamed as he saw a brand new guitar. The smile didn’t leave his face as he opened his smaller gifts he got and Manchester united …
