    Yippppeee!! —(:— December 19th, 1997 Well, it’s been a month since I started at my new school. I think it’s okay… Also me and lilly have become closer! She hasn’t talked though. All she does is smile,nod,frown,cry,and that’s pretty much it. Spencer said that she never talks. I guess that it’s true… Today was the last day before Christmas break. After lunch, miss mitchell let us have free time. Since spencer wasn’t at school today, I played with lilly . We sat at the drawing table and we drew…things. Well I drew a rainbow and a lot of different stuffs. Lilly made a Christmas card for her mommy. It was red and green with white polka dots. She misspelled merry and Christmas but it was still a cool card. Then it was time to leave. Me and lilly walked out to our cubbies with each other. I grabbed my heavy coat and zipped it up. I wrapped my scarf around my neck and put my hat on my head. I looked over at lilly . She was having a little trouble with the zipper. I giggled. “here lilly , lemme help!” I grabbed the zipper and forced it up . She smiled at me and grabbed the rest of her stuff . She waited for me. We walked out together. Our mommys were late so we sat on the bench. It started to snow and she looked up smiling and so did I.
